Trash Pickup
All residents of Lake Erie Shores are required to use Major Waste Disposal Services for their rubbish pickup. Pickup is Monday mornings.
New residents should call Major Waste at (440) 254-4629 to arrange for pickup. The HOA has negotiated a reduced rate for their service. Mention that you are in Lake Erie Shores when starting your service.
All Trash and Recycling Totes and Containers shall be stored in such a manner so that they are not visible from the street. The contents of the Totes and Containers must be secured Against scattering.
Holidays:
If you have a question about holiday pick-up check Major Waste's Facebook page. They usually post a reminder if they are not picking up for a holiday. On those weeks, pickup is on Tuesday.
In general there is no pickup on these holidays:
- Memorial Day
- 4th of July
- Labor Day
- Christmas
- New Years Day
